Round-by-Round Analysis

Round One: The round went pretty much by the rankings as they should until Team F took Joseph Addai. Team F said, "I think Addai has the more upside than any other running back in the draft. Much more so than veteran's Parker and Henry. Team G landed Travis Henry and said, "Even Coach Shanahan said he would gain 1,500 yards. Denver's run game is always great and look what Henry did with the average Titans and before with the Bills. He is very underrated." The round finished out with running back Reggie Bush being taken over the veteran Westbrook. Team J said, "Injury problems for Westbrook and the upside of Bush out-weigh the dual backfield issue."
Round Two: The round started with Team L selecting Ronnie Brown. Team L said, "I am very happy with Brown at the 13th pick. He was a top 10 pick in 2006 and he could easily finish in the top 10 in 2007. Maurice Jones-Drew went next at 14. Team K said, "Just look at his stats and he didn't even start all year. 15 TD's! Fred Taylor is a back up." Team I takes the first QB, Peyton Manning. He said, "To me McGahee is the last back that is a better pick than Manning. I think I can still get 2 good backs later." Chad Johnson is the first wide receiver taken with the 17th overall pick. Team H said, "I didn't really like the running backs available plus I would rather start the WR run than be on the end of it. Team G didn't go with the receiver run and to slightly lower rated Marshawn Lynch . TEam G said, "You need to take some gambles to win. I think he could be big. I can still get a good receiver in round 3. The round did conclude with a run on receivers seeing Owens, Steve Smith, Marvin Harrison, Tory Holt, and Reggie Wayne being drafted in front of running backs.
Round Three: The underrated veteran Thomas Jones goes after Cedric Benson to Team B who said, "He always produces and could be the focus of the Jets offense." Team A grabbed Benson and said, "I honestly wanted Jones, he is a safer pick, but his injury worries me alittle." The second QB was finally selected, Drew Brees. Team G said, "It was a very tough decision, but I had my 2 RB's and I knew the next Tier of QB's would likely be gone. Start the run, don't end it!" By the end of that round Palmer and Bulger were drafted and McNabb and Rivers went in the next round. Start the runs, don't end them...when the time is right.
