Jermaine Gresham (R) - Bengals
- The Bengals' #1 pick is coming off knee surgery to repair
torn cartilage in his right knee, he missed the 2010 season
and needs to prove he's 100-percent healthy, but at 6-6,
260 he gives the Bengals a legitimate threat at tight end.
He has a great vertical leap that will make him a dangerous
end zone target.
Brandon Pettigrew - Lions
- He was having a solid rookie campaign before going down
to a knee injury, but the Lions 2009 #1 pick managed 30
receptions for 346 yards and two touchdowns in his nine
healthy games.
The Lions did sign Tony Scheffler, which is a bit worrisome,
but the intentions are to throw more to the tight ends.
If you are at the end of the draft and don't have a tight
end or want a backup, take a shot at Pettigrew.
