Sam Bradford - Rams
- 2010's top draft pick, Bradford has a quick release and
uses pump fake to target overly aggressive defensive backs.
He is a very accurate quarterback and needs to be because
he has average NFL arm strength. Bradford is a winner and
is the kind of leader a team can rally around. He needs
improve his footwork and learn to avoid big its. He also
needs to bulk up and answer the durability questions to
prove he can handle a 16-game NFL season.
Bradford, like most rookies, won't see too much fantasy
success, but he could be a decent back up by seasons-end
in deep leagues. A.J. Feeley enters camp as the starter,
and he has a good shot to start because he played in the
system while with the Eagles when Rams offensive coordinator
Pat Shurmur was the quarterbacks coach.
The improvement of receivers Donnie Avery and rookie fourth-round
pick Mardy Gilyard, as well as and improved offensive line
(the Rams drafted tackle Rodger Saffold wtih their second-round
draft pick), will determine the success of any quarterback
in St. Louis.
