Fantasy Football Draft Report |

|
2006
Fantasy Football Sleepers |
Level
A Sleepers
- These are either well-known, established fantasy
players who are projected to do much better than
their 2005 statistics or players who broke out
last year and could be the new fantasy football
studs. These players are expected to do better
than their projected draft spot.
Level
B Sleepers
- They have shown potential in the past and this
may be their year.
Level
C Sleepers
- These are either rookies or long shots that
have no previous fantasy record but could start
for your team and be star.

Level
A Sleepers |
| Ronnie
Brown
- Hardly a sleeper based on all projections, nevertheless,
he is expected to go from an average fantasy back
to a stud with Ricky Williams gone. He is bring,
strong, fast and can catch...reminds us of Larry
Johnson. We think he is a top 10 player and could
finish right below the elite 3 running backs, Larry
Johnson, LaDainian Tomlinson and Shaun Alexander. |
| Dominick
Davis
- Had a very disappointing 2005 season, but what
Texan didn't? The Texans showed their belief in
his abilities by not drafting Reggie Bush. In addition,
the new coach is Gary Kubiak, the former offensive
coordinator of the Denver Broncos...they can run.
Finally, the had two 3rd round draft pick on the
OL plus they signed Zach Wiegert from the Rams to
start at tackle. |
| The
Jones Brothers
- Don't give up on Kevin Jones
or Julius Jones. They
both could still explode in 2006 season after they
bombed in 2005. The improved Lions can only help
Jones stats, while Julius is 100% healed from his
injury that nagged him even in his return. Draft
Julius ahead of Kevin. Note: We know they're not
brothers! |
| Eli
Manning
- Coming into his third season he can blossom into
the next Carson Palmer, although that may be a bit
wishful. Nevertheless, except him to get better
and possibly reach 4,000 yards. |
| Aaron
Brooks
- New Orleans was a disaster in 2005. Really. No
Deuce and a beat up Joe Horn along with no stadium
are legitimate reasons why Brooks failed. Oakland
offers him a fresh start as well as ample deep targets
to throw to, namely Randy Moss. Could be a big fantasy
quarterback in 2006. Heck, Collins was a good fantasy
QB. |
| Andre
Johnson
- Like all the Houston players, he can only get
better in 2006. Johnson has all the tools to be
a fantasy stud receiver and 2006 should be the year
we see if he is a true stud or just another so-so
WR. |
| Joe
Horn -
The healthy veteran is "jazzed" about
having Drew Brees and Reggie Bush join the Saints
along with new head coach Sean Payton. Horn was
a stud in 2004 when he caught 94 passes for 1,399
yards and 11 TD's. Look more for 80 catches for
1,175 yards and 8 TD's. |
| Muhsin
Muhammad-
The one year fantasy-wonder is a legitimate wide
receiver. If Rex Grossman has a solid year, Muhammad
will be the main recipient of the fantasy goods.
Don't let escape you in the mid-late rounds, he
is a nice gamble if you can afford it. |
